Agricultural / Commercial Loan Officer

Dakota Western Bank is seeking a full-time Loan Officer to join our team, serving our Hettinger and Regent branches. This position manages credit relations with agriculture, business, and individuals.  As a Loan officer, you will work with DWB customers to analyze their financials, needs, desires, abilities, and earnings to determine whether a loan may be acceptable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interviews loan applicants and collects and analyzes financial and related data
• Establishes terms under which credit will be extended, including the costs, repayment method, repayment schedule, and collateral requirements.
• Monitors loan repayment activity
• Advises customers, where possible, concerning business management and financial matters.
• Serves asa  member of the Loan Committee, which makes presentations and evaluations of loan requests

Requirements are a general knowledge of business, financials, and economics, with a high level of analytical ability to determine loan analyses, market trends, credit/interest rates, economic conditions and trends, and other factors.
